National Service Scheme (NSS)
There are 100 students actively involved National Service Scheme (NSS) activities. The NSS unit aims at encouraging social service and its related benefit to the volunteers in the form of exhibiting cultural talents, attending camps.
Our students actively taken up cleaning works at selected villages, temples, hospitals etc.,. Every year DOTE sponsored special NSS camp will be conducted in the selected villages.
Awareness Camp
Our college is involved in conducting various social awareness camps for our college students and general public. The following camp was conducted in our college.
- Road Safety Week,
- HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme,
- Voters awareness camp conducted our college students by revenue department, Kulithalai.
Annual Day Function
Every year annual day function is celebrated in our college. This is celebrated with parents , students and teaching and non teaching faculties. All the students get prepare for cultural programs as a group and single dances, songs, drama’s etc. This celebration helps the students to attract their interest in cultural activity. They get passionate about one of the art. The celebration also increases the competition among the students which helps them to perform better. Students get a chance to represent them near a big audience.
The Principal read out the Annual Report. The students are honored for their academic and non academic achievements.
Sports Day Celebration
Sports Day at our college is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put in by the student to make it a successful event. Sports is not only about competition, it is also about having fun , being physically active , learning the basics of sports and building coordination and teamwork and so to give the students an opportunity to display their talent, self-confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship.
The students are motivated to participate in the various sports like Cricket, Kabadi, Kho-Kho, athletics etc.,. The participation in college level made them to participate more in regional and state level games. Our college students won many prizes in regional level and represented in state level also.
